Warming Effect

If we take a bath in warm water of appropriate temperature, our arteries and veins will dilate and blood circulation will increase. This will send the nutrition and oxygen in the blood of the whole body, promoting metabolism and helps in removing wastes accumulated in the body. In this way, it relieves the fatigue, ache and stiffness in our bodies. Generally, the main benefit of a bath is its ability to increase the body temperature. Its functions can be divided into

(1) Dilate the blood vessel, promote the blood circulation

(2) Calm the spirit

(3) Soften muscles, tendons and ligament.

This so-called "warming-up" is not the delivering of heat o the inner parts of the body through the skin; but the blood within the skin circulating and delivering heat throughout the body, making it warmed up. Besides, the heat can relax our body. And the warm blood can calm our mind and we become more relaxed. Even in the cold winter, we would fall asleep easily after taking a confortable bath.

Cleaning the Skin

The main function of bathing is to clean the skin. Before taking a bath, we make the bathroom be filled with steam. Then we enter the bathroom, we will find that although the steam temperature of ordinary bathroom in our households is not as high as the one of the sauna outside, its temperature is able to loosen the grease and dirt trapped in the pores. Next, we can take a bath confortably in the tub; at this time the old cuticles on the skin surface so called "filth" will soften in hot water. We can then clean the filth easily by washing the skin using a bathing tool such as a towel. In this way, the skin can be allowed to proper regulate the body temperature and normal perspiration can proceed. Hence we feel fresh and confortable after each bath. This is because we loose a large amount of sweat and lots of water after a bath. We should also drink a large glass of water before bathing to keep ourselves adequately hydrated.

Healthy Bathing

Bathing is a common habit which not only helps people rid fatigue but also cleans the body and improves sleep quality. Just spend a little more thought, the bathing experience can bring as much pleasure. Besides the development of culture and history, climate is another factor which affects how we select the way they take a bath. If we are in the humid summer, we want to take a comfortable bath; and if we are in the cold winter, then we long to take hot bath. Surveys showed that there are more than 60% people who take a bath everyday in each season. Also about 90% people love taking a bath. In recent years, bath with massage and essential oil is getting popular. It is apparent that having a bath is increasingly popular. The main purpose of bathing is warm up the body and to remove daily fatigue and tension. If we understand more about the benefits of bathing, it will become a private time to relax and hence an ideal way to take a bath and be cleansed.
