Warming Effect

If we take a bath in warm water of appropriate temperature, our arteries and veins will dilate and blood circulation will increase. This will send the nutrition and oxygen in the blood of the whole body, promoting metabolism and helps in removing wastes accumulated in the body. In this way, it relieves the fatigue, ache and stiffness in our bodies. Generally, the main benefit of a bath is its ability to increase the body temperature. Its functions can be divided into

(1) Dilate the blood vessel, promote the blood circulation

(2) Calm the spirit

(3) Soften muscles, tendons and ligament.

This so-called "warming-up" is not the delivering of heat o the inner parts of the body through the skin; but the blood within the skin circulating and delivering heat throughout the body, making it warmed up. Besides, the heat can relax our body. And the warm blood can calm our mind and we become more relaxed. Even in the cold winter, we would fall asleep easily after taking a confortable bath.
